The Pitch
There are eight players per pitch and each individual is both goalkeeper and player. There is also a track around the pitch which provides for social distancing with no overtaking allowed. In this area there is rope skipping, crouching, jumping, press ups etc.

Positions
Number 1 is North-facing and then from 2 onwards positions are clockwise. Players can use an eight-sided wheel to choose positions or use the alphabet. Those with the shortest names like Ian or Ivy can repeat their name eg Ivyivyivy and the first eight letters are the important ones.
There is a one-lane track around the pitch.

The Green Area
The player can handle, kick or head the ball. The player is not allowed to score into the wingers’ (those on either side of him/her) goalposts from the green area. See exception below.
The Yellow Area
The player can head the ball into all goalposts to include the wingers’ posts.
A track can be constructed around the 20 group of pitches.
